Position:
Marine Technician in the Service Department of The Boat House of Door County. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, troubleshooting, installations, and client collaboration on marine vessels. Preference for candidates with dealership experience and ongoing Master Certification.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair services on marine engines, propulsion systems and related components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a variety of marine vessels.
- Perform installations, upgrades, and modifications to enhance marine system performance.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including parts used and work performed.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring positive customer experience.
- Proven experience as a Marine Technician with expertise in marine engine systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong knowledge of various marine vessels including boats and other watercraft.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in diverse environments.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel to different locations for on‑site services.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Pay is based on experience; overtime and certifications could lead to earnings up to $100,000.
