Job Summary:

We are thrilled to offer a position for a skilled and dedicated Pavement Marking Technician (Line Striper) to join our Pavement Maintenance Team. As a Pavement Marking Technician, your primary focus will be on the essential task of line striping roadways, parking lots, and other surfaces with precision and accuracy. Operating specialized striping equipment and small power tools will be part of your daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain clean work areas for optimal striping application.

• Handle loading, unloading, and carrying of construction items, including pavement marking supplies and signs.

• Utilize company trucks for material and equipment transportation.

• Set up and remove construction signs and traffic control items at job sites.

• Operate and maintain specialized striping equipment and small power tools to ensure efficient and accurate line striping.

• Lay out and install heat tape for pavement marking applications.

• Apply and remove temporary and permanent reflective tape to enhance road safety.

• Perform precise line striping for clear and visible pavement markings, ensuring road safety and visual appeal.

• Operate and maintain equipment for removing pavement markings from road surfaces.

• Clean grinders and paint machines used in pavement marking tasks.

Job Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pavement Marking Technician or Line Striper is preferred

• Demonstrate the ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, and dusty environments.

• Exhibit a strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime when required to meet project demands.

• Thrive in a team setting, effectively communicating with supervisors, co-workers, contractors, and customers in a courteous and professional manner.

• Hold a valid driver's license, enabling you to actively contribute to our operations.

• Comply with all safety policies and procedures to foster a secure work environment.
