Full-Time, Monday – Friday, Various Shifts
Job Description: R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Diesel Mechanics at our West Salem, WI Service Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet equipment consisting of preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs of Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. This may include maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding, depending on location.
Earn up to $39.38/hr earn one week of vacation after 90 days of employment and enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes our employee resorts.
Requirements:- Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Capability to handle major repairs
- Experience with AC and electrical systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must have own tools
- 2+ years of Diesel Mechanic experience
- Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
- Experience using Cetaris for work orders
- Class A CDL holder
- Experience driving Class 8 commercial trucks
- Experience in trailer PMs and repairs
