The role of the Equipment Operator is to perform general labor as part of a small team to repair and replace sewer systems, gas lines etc. Most jobs involve existing systems in residential neighborhoods. The Equipment Operator will be working in the field to complete site excavation and loading as needed. The Equipment Operator will also perform the following tasks when required: water service;

spot repairs; pipe burst; trench and pour and finish concrete. When heavy machinery is not in use the Operator will assist field technicians with plumbing jobs.

• Perform the following tasks when required: water service; spot repairs; pipe burst; trench and excavate and pour and finish concrete.
• Available to arrive early and/or stay late when workload requires in varying weather conditions.
• Operate various equipment for general site preparation and any related assignments
• Assist in any necessary plumbing related activities when available and not doing excavating
• Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety
• Work in confined spaces and open trenches.
• Avoids hazards such as utility lines and falling objects
• Performs other tasks as needed

• CDL or Chauffer's License
• Attention to Detail
• Organization
• Stress Tolerance
• Ability to Work Independently
• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Plumbing License (Preferred)
• Mechanic skills a plus
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 100 lbs.

$25 - $30 an hour
