CDL Driver​/Feed Mill Operations

Overview

Position Summary:

Perform the delivery of feed and other products to customers in a timely manner to ensure outstanding customer service and satisfaction. Perform general feed labor as required.

• Delivery of feed and other products from the location to producers in the immediate area of the location.
• Follow all legal regulations and guidelines as required to maintain a commercial driver’s license.
• Assist with feed manufacturing and housekeeping as assigned.
• Maintain necessary paperwork or documentation.
• Perform daily truck inspections and inform supervision of needed maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain a professional image and provide superior customer service.
• Operate all feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently and in a manner that ensures accuracy and high quality.
• Determine proper routing and distribution for manufactured feeds to appropriate holding bins.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
• Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform general work around the facility and other duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative to the community.

• Class A CDL preferred or required as per location regulations.
• Ability to perform duties involving driving, loading/unloading, and basic equipment operation.
• Ability to follow safety and quality guidelines and maintain accurate documentation.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
