Jerry's Truck & Trailer Repair is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Service Writer

The Service Writer is responsible for keeping the shop moving. This includes making sure technicians have clear direction, jobs are properly prioritized, repairs are completed safely and correctly, parts and information are available when needed, and customer commitments are being met.

In addition to shop leadership, this position will also serve as a customer-facing technical resource, assisting with service writing and service advisor responsibilities. The Service Writer will communicate with customers about repair needs, estimates, approvals, timelines, and completed work and help ensure repair orders are accurate from intake through invoicing.
