About the Role

Morin's is hiring a Lead Exterior Remodeling Carpenter to guide and work alongside a small crew on residential exterior remodeling projects. This position includes hands‑on installation work as well as leadership responsibilities in the field.

You will help lead the installation of seamless siding, gutters, downspouts, trim, flashing, windows, and doors while making sure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Morin's quality standards.

This role is a strong fit for an experienced exterior carpenter who enjoys leading by example, coaching others, solving job‑site challenges, and taking pride in a professional finished product. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, safety‑minded, and comfortable communicating with customers, project managers, office staff, and crew members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with installation of seamless gutters, downspouts, steel siding, vinyl siding, exterior trim, and flashing.
• Install windows and doors so they are plumb, level, square, and properly weatherproofed.
• Ensure weatherproofing follows manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Measure, plan, cut, fit, and install materials accurately for clean, professional results.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and productive job site.
• Direct daily field work, delegate tasks, and help crew members stay on schedule.
• Mentor and support crew members while promoting quality workmanship and teamwork.
• Communicate with project managers, customers, and office staff about job progress, materials, and project needs.
• Track time, job notes, materials, and documentation using Job Nimbus and Quick Books Workforce.
• Represent Morin's professionally and respectfully on every project.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of residential exterior carpentry, siding, window, gutter, or remodeling experience.
• Prior lead carpenter, crew lead, or field leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to manage small crews, assign tasks, and maintain production schedules.
• Strong measuring, layout, cutting, fitting, and installation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.
• Safety-focused approach to field work.
• Comfortable working at heights and in enclosed spaces when required.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
