This pivotal role requires close collaboration with all stakeholders, including individuals, families, and other agency team members, to create meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities to actively participate in their communities as valued neighbors, productive workers, and respected citizens.
Assist individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) in developing, improving, and maintaining work-related skills at community-based employment by providing individual training, support, and encouragement, primarily within Ozaukee and surrounding counties.
- Actively help individuals improve and maintain work-related skills.
- Be p roviding job training in partnership with the employer, relating to job tasks, work habits, & employment requirements.
- Identify barriers and finding solutions to work-related needs.
- Facilitate social integration and interdependence or natural support.
MUST be responsible, energetic, enthusiastic, compassionate &
LOVE working with adults with I/DD
