Job Summary

We are seeking a Mobile Test Engineer to design and implement robust QA strategies and test frameworks for API, web, and native mobile applications.

This role focuses on end-to-end validation, deployment automation, and improving test coverage and release velocity across platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, Dev Ops practices, and mobile application testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement QA strategies and test frameworks for API, web, and native mobile applications.
  • Focus on deployment automation, orchestration, and version control.
  • Assist with code branching, merging, build pipelines, and version management.
  • Influence software design by promoting testability, security, and bug prevention strategies.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests including unit, component, integration, functional, performance, and scenario tests.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve test coverage, release velocity, and production health.
  • Actively participate in the development process and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with automation tools such as Playwright or Cypress, and REST Assured or Karate.
  • Experience with additional tools and frameworks including JUnit, Espresso, XCTest, XCUITest, TestNG, and Maven.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with front-end testing and tools such as Playwright, Xray, Chaos, Splunk, Datadog.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development and Dev Ops practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Dev Ops pipelines (e.g., Jenkins Core, LWC, Monorepo).
  • Familiarity with source control tools such as Git Hub, Bitbucket (Stash), and Sourcetree.
  • Cloud experience, preferably with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Knowledge of mobile architectures (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture) and trends in iOS and Android development.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and experience building and testing accessible applications on Web, iOS, and Android.
