Overview
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our Digital Platforms Technology team. This role involves working within a Scrum team to design, build, test, and deliver features that enhance digital customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for scalable and maintainable software solutions.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Squad Leads, Scrum Masters, Developers, QA, and Architects to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable full-stack applications using modern technologies.
- Translate complex business problems into efficient and creative technical solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment with best practices in object-oriented design, coding standards, and secure development.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in production environments.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them to improve system architecture and performance.
- 5+ years of experience in full stack software engineering, preferably in financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong critical thinking skills and a growth mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in server-side technologies:
Java EE, Apache Tomcat, Spring MVC/Spring Boot, Logback, SLF4j, Maven. - Understanding of RESTful service integration and secure application development.
- Experience with Dev Ops tools and practices including SCM, CI/CD, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture patterns and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Apache Camel).
- Experience with client-side testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma).
- Knowledge of Docker containerization and AWS cloud deployment.
- AWS certifications.
- Understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
- AWS Certification preferred.
