We're solving one of the most challenging problems in AI content generation: moving beyond generic outputs to create work that captures the nuance, personality, and visual language that makes each brand unique.

We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to build the production platform that powers our brand-perfect content generation. You'll bring strong technical skills, a systematic approach to problem-solving, deep experience with scalable backend systems, and the ability to architect solutions that balance speed with reliability. The right candidate thrives on building elegant systems in a fast-paced startup environment where your work directly shapes the product.

You'll work with our CTO, AI engineering team, CEO, and CRO in a flat structure with rotating project ownership. We work in 2-3 week cycles managed through Linear, where everyone contributes to shaping the product direction.

• Build Inku's full production platform — from the data foundation layer that ingests and processes brand materials, to the APIs that power generation, to the user-facing interfaces that make brand-perfect content creation feel effortless
• Architect and implement both backend services and frontend experiences for our generation workflow
• Create intuitive interfaces for brand material ingestion, generation controls, asset management, and collaboration features
• Work collaboratively with our engineers to integrate generation workflows, GPU infrastructure, and model scaling optimizations into seamless user experiences
• Build the systems that connect brand identity (images, guidelines, videos, company culture) to AI-generated outputs through robust data pipelines and intelligent matching
• Ship high-quality, well-tested code across the full stack
• Establish engineering practices, architecture patterns, and the technical foundation as we scale to production
• Own features end-to-end — from database design to API implementation to the user interface

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience building scalable web applications, OR equivalent experience
• Deep experience building production-grade services on cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with a focus on performance and reliability
• Experience with Next.js and React, building responsive and intuitive user interfaces
• Experience with data stores (Postgre

• Proven ability to design and implement APIs that balance flexibility with performance

• Experience with AI/ML platforms, frameworks, and deployment at scale
• Hands-on experience with generative models or other generative AI systems — either in production or through deep personal exploration
• Experience building creative tools, media applications, or platforms where the user experience around asset generation/management is critical
• Comfort working with image processing, media pipelines, and handling large binary assets
• Experience with Rust for performance-critical services
• Understanding of GPU infrastructure and optimisation for AI workloads
