Mobile Application Developer (Kotlin Primary)

Location:

Westlake, TX and Durham, NC (5 days Onsite every other week)

No of roles: 3-4. We currently have 3–4 open roles, with requirements varying across experience levels (3–5 years, 5–8 years, and 10+ years). Kindly share profiles aligned with these experience brackets.

Role Summary

We are seeking a talented Mobile Application Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and Android application development as the primary skill, along with working knowledge of Swift and iOS development as a secondary skill. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, user‑friendly, and high-performance mobile applications while supporting cross‑platform mobile initiatives.

Day to Day

Job Duties

Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
Build clean, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions following Android best practices.
Integrate RESTful APIs, third‑party SDKs, and backend services.
Develop responsive and intuitive mobile user interfaces.
Optimize applications for performance, security, and reliability.
Implement unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for Android applications.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release planning.

Basic Qualifications

8+ years’ experience in Kotlin and Android application development.
8+ years’ experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack components.
8+ years’ experience in REST API integration and JSON handling.
8+ years’ experience with local storage solutions such as Room, SQLite, or Shared Preferences.

Nice to have

Working knowledge of Swift and iOS development.
Familiarity with UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
Understanding of iOS application lifecycle and development fundamentals.
