- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and influence direction across multiple teams.
- Mentor engineers and help grow engineering capability on the team.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build and release automation, and developer tooling as needed, helping reduce manual work and speed up delivery.
- 8-12 years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of delivering production systems.
- Strong programming skills in one or more of Go, Python, Java, or C/C++.
- Experience building cloud-native and distributed systems, including containers (Docker) and Kubernetes.
- Solid grounding in software design, data structures, APIs, and testing strategies, including unit, integration, and automated testing.
- Experience with Git workflows, including branching and merge strategies, pull request workflows, and code review best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and influence technical direction.
- Willingness to work on CI/CD and automation when the team's needs require it.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Scripting and automation in Bash, Groovy, or Power Shell.
- Experience with Helm, infrastructure as code, or Dev Sec Ops practices.
- Experience with observability, performance tuning, or large-scale storage and data systems.
