Director of Software Engineering

We work directly with clients to understand their challenges, architect solutions, and deliver scalable, reliable technology that operates in complex enterprise healthcare environments. Annual base salary of $180,000 to $250,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

We are seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead the architecture, technical execution, and delivery of complex software and data engineering solutions across our healthcare client engagements.

This is a hands‑on technical leadership position for someone with deep experience in software development, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture. The Director will guide engineering teams, make critical architectural decisions, and actively contribute to solving complex technical problems.

You will work directly with clients to understand business objectives, design technical solutions, and guide engineering teams from initial architecture through implementation and production deployment. You will also help establish engineering standards, mentor engineers, and develop reusable technical capabilities that improve delivery across engagements.

This is not a purely managerial or architecture oversight role. We are looking for a senior technical leader who can design sophisticated systems, review and write code when necessary, troubleshoot difficult challenges, and lead engineers by example.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical judgment, practical engineering experience, and the ability to communicate confidently with both technical teams and client stakeholders.
