Forklift Operator, Operations Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Description 3rd Shift Warehouse Wednesday - Saturday (7:00pm-5:00am) Under supervision of the Warehouse Manager and Shift Supervisor, responsible for setting up orders for shipping, receiving incoming product and placing product in warehouse.
But first, let's talk wage! As you grow in this position with Masters Gallery Foods, you will receive a wage increase at both 90 days AND one year. Start: $25.04 90 Day: $26.06 1 Year: $27.08 This position is eligible for $1.00 shift differential pay.
How You Will Contribute to our Legacy of Excellence:
Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner. Verify finished product from production and locate in warehouse. Receive/unload incoming product and locate in warehouse. Set up loads for shipping and load on to trucks, making sure orders are correctly completed and stock properly rotated.
Maintain warehouse in orderly and organized manner. Professionally interact with drivers and complete all required shipping/receiving paperwork. Consistent and reliable attendance to maintain adequate staffing levels and meet customer commitments is required.
What You Have to
Offer:
Ability to learn to safely and successfully operate a forklift. Ability to charge and change forklift batteries and sanitize forklift. Must be able to lift, carry and stack 50 pounds.
Ability to read and comprehend safety warnings and directives related to machinery and warehouse processes. Ability to work as part of a team and professionally communicate with all warehouse and supervisory personnel.
Working Environment Frequently exposed to noise, dust, and cool temperatures. Continual operation of powered industrial trucks, including stand up forklift.
