Shipping and Receiving Associate

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our client’s team in Middleton, WI. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, verifying shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing outgoing orders, and delivering materials to internal departments.

The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a warehouse environment while collaborating with multiple departments to ensure materials and products are handled accurately and efficiently.

Shift: 7AM-3:30PM

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and product condition, and document any discrepancies or damaged items.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare materials for shipment.
• Pull inventory and deliver materials to designated internal departments.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal departments, including Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Sales.
• Communicate with shipping carriers such as UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, and other transportation providers.
• Operate forklifts, powered industrial trucks, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
• Ensure warehouse shelves are properly labeled, inventory is stored correctly, and aisles remain clear of obstructions.
• Prepare shipping documents and other records using Microsoft Windows applications.
• Follow all established safety procedures and assist with other warehouse or facilities duties as assigned.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately count, inspect, and document incoming and outgoing materials.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Windows.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members.
• Ability to safely handle, move, and organize warehouse materials.
• Forklift or powered industrial truck experience
• Previous shipping, receiving, inventory, or warehouse experience is preferred.
