Position Overview The Inventory Control Specialist plays a key role in keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly by maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating materials, supporting production, and processing shipments. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys solving problems and working across teams.

Who You’ll Work With

• Report to the Materials Manager and partner closely with the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Work daily with Materials, Production, and Warehouse teams to support manufacturing and shipping needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain inventory accuracy and keep materials and information flowing efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Inventory Control
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and investigate inventory variances.
  • Issue, stage, and coordinate materials for production orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and identify opportunities to improve accuracy.
• Production Support
  • Generate and process travelers, work instructions, labels, and shop order documentation.
  • Enter and maintain production data in IFS, including KPIs, OEE, and MRB.
  • Prepare reports and investigate data or documentation discrepancies.
• Shipping & Warehouse Support
  • Pick, prepare, and process daily small parcel and LTL shipments.
  • Provide backup support for receiving, material handling, production line supply, and purchase orders.
• Cross-Functional Support
  • Partner with Materials, Production, and Warehouse teams to support daily operations.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and other operational projects as needed.
