Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Account Manager role based in Wishaw. The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of clients, providing ongoing support, guidance, and service across KRD Financial’s product offerings, including protection, retirement, investment, and mortgage-related solutions. Daily activities include conducting client reviews, preparing financial summaries, updating account information, and coordinating with advisers to ensure recommendations are clearly communicated and implemented.

The Account Manager will handle inbound and outbound client communications, respond to queries, follow up on documentation, and liaise with providers to help process applications, policy changes, and claims. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in internal systems, monitoring service levels, and contributing to process improvements that enhance client experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Strong client relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly with a wide range of clients.
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or wealth management, with a solid understanding of products such as life assurance, income protection, pensions, and investments.
  • Proficiency in administrative and organizational tasks, including maintaining accurate records, managing documentation, and working with CRM or practice management systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including confident phone and email communication and the ability to explain complex information in accessible terms.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret client information, identify issues, and support appropriate financial solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment, as well as independently to manage workload and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance and data privacy standards.
  • Relevant qualifications in financial services, business, or a related field are beneficial; progress toward industry-recognized certifications (e.g., financial planning or mortgage advice qualifications) is an advantage.
