The core of the job is supporting and developing the company's ERP system, built on Infor BPCS. You’ll maintain and extend a range of in-house add-ons written around the ERP, and be the main point of contact for system requests across the business.
Beyond the ERP, the role covers general IT project work as it comes up, from bespoke builds like eInvoicing through to infrastructure work like telephone system upgrades. You’ll also manage supplier contracts and third party relationships as part of running the department.
You’ll lead a small, established IT team of two, a Java software engineer and a desktop support specialist. Reliability and organisation matter here, both for the continuity of the department and to give the wider business someone steady to rely on.
We know how few people still work with this combination of RPG and AS400 skills, and would rather find the right person than tick every box on salary or working pattern.
