This vacancy is for a part‑time role for 18 hours per week. As a Housekeeping Assistant at HC‑One, kindness will be at the heart of everything you do. It shapes our care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist homes. Our residents are people with rich lives and personal stories. By joining HC‑One, you will help give something back – through care, respect and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas
  • Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
  • Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
  • Supporting infection control and safety standards
  • Helping with laundry and linen care
  • Reporting any issues or repairs asIS needed

You will take pride in your work and keep everything spotless. Whether you are ticking off tasks or lending a hand, you will do it with care and compassion. Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided. You need to be organised, manage your time well and pay attention to detail. Most of all, you should bring a positive attitude and be kind and respectful in every conversation – with residents, visitors and your team.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and it is important that you can recognise the signs that may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice, report concerns and, if action is not taken, to escaladed.
