Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Sales Order Processor on behalf of our client based in Braintree.
Main Purpose of the Role
To provide efficient and accurate sales order processing support whilst delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth progression of customer orders from enquiry through to delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Review order information and verify accuracy before processing.
• Liaise with customers regarding Order Acknowledgement order progress, delivery dates and product enquiries.
• Coordinate with production to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Prepare quotations and sales documentation when required.
• Maintain accurate customer records and order information.
• Handle customer enquiries via telephone and email.
• Resolve order-related issues and escalate where necessary.
• Support the wider sales and administration teams.
Additional Responsibilities
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Support continuous improvement of order processing procedures.
• Produce administrative documentation as required.
• Assist other departments during busy periods.
• Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
Experience,
Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience within Sales Administration, Order Processing or Customer Service.
• Experience with in a manufacturing, engineering or production environment would be advantageous.
• Strong organisational and administration skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Working Pattern & Benefits

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

• Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum
