Market 36 Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Race Technician on behalf of our client based in Witham. This is an exciting opportunity to work on historically significant race cars, carrying out workshop-based preparation, rebuilds and providing trackside support at prestigious historic motor sport events across the UK and Europe

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare, maintain and rebuild historic race cars.

* Carry out servicing and repairs in the workshop and at race events.

* Provide trackside support during UK and European race meetings.

* Maintain accurate vehicle and project records.

* Work closely with senior engineers to deliver projects on time.

* Ensure a clean, organised and safe working environment.

About You

* Minimum 2 years' experience within motor sport (historic motor sport preferred).

* Strong mechanical engineering skills with excellent attention to detail.

* Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

* Good organisational and communication skills.

* Basic fabrication skills desirable (MIG/TIG welding advantageous).

* Full UK Driving Licence.

* Flexible to travel and work weekends when required.

Salary:

* Salary up to £44,200 DOE.

* 8:00am – 5:30pm
