Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Company Overview:
A well-established subcontract precision engineering company based in Witham is seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join its busy and growing team. The company supplies high-quality components to a range of industries, including Aerospace, Motorsport, Medical, Oil & Gas, and Commercial sectors. The CNC Turner will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Doosan CNC Lathes to produce high-precision components to tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

Program, set, and operate Doosan CNC Lathes (Haas experience also beneficial)

Produce precision components to tolerances of ±20 microns

Read and interpret engineering drawings

Prove out new CNC programs and complete first-off inspections

Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers, gauges)

Ensure efficient workflow and maintain high-quality standards

Contribute to process improvement and productivity

Experience and

Skills Required:

Proven experience as a CNC Turning is essential

Experience with Doosan or Haas CNC machines preferred (training provided)

Online programming experience desirable (offline training available)

Ability to set and operate CNC Lathes independently

Experience working to tight tolerances and quality standards

Ideally time-served or apprentice-trained, though relevant experience is key
