CNC Miller - Hurco Setter/Operator

Witham
Salary: £15.00 - £20.00 per hour (DOE) + Overtime

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

About the Company
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded subcontract engineering company based in Witham. They support a diverse range of industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Medical, Commercial, and Oil & Gas. Due to continued growth and a busy order book, they are now seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their skilled team. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting and operating Hurco milling machines to produce high-precision components.

Key Responsibilities:

Set and operate Hurco CNC milling machines

Prove out new jobs and ensure first-off quality

Machine components to very fine tolerances (down to 20 microns)

Perform self-inspection of machined parts

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure production efficiency and quality

Assist with basic programming tasks (training provided if required)

Experience &

Skills Required:

Proven CNC Milling experience

Experience with Hurco and/or OneCNC software desirable

Setting and operating experience essential

XYZ machine experience preferred

Ability to interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances

Apprentice trained or time-served background preferred (experience considered more important than formal qualifications)

Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and develop

Benefits:

Competitive pay rate - £15.00 to £20.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
