A busy industrial electrical manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Wire Person / Panel Builder to build complex control panels. The company supply a variety of fully equipped control panels, relay panels and equipment racks to the electricity supply & other various industries in the UK and overseas. The ideal candidate will have wiring experience or have an aptitude for engineering using hand tools.

Duties

• Working from engineering drawings
• Mechanical fitting & wiring of varying panel sizes from 600cm to 3 meters
• Wiring looms/cable harness and relays

Experience

• Good wiring skills are preferable however some training can be given
• Control panel or cable assembly experience an advantage
• Must be able to lift heavy weights
• Industrial background would be advantageous
• Candidates must have some experience of using hand tools

Benefits

• Hours of work: 07.30 - 16.30 Monday to Thursday with 1/2 hour lunch and 07.30 - 12.30 Friday.
• 20 days holiday rising to 25 days with service + bank holidays
