Job Title: European Export Planner

Location: Witham, Essex

Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week

• Planning and coordinating the smooth and cost‑effective movement of goods across Europe
• Utilising customer service skills to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and partners
• Maximising trailer payloads and consolidating cargo efficiently
• Taking ownership of customer enquiries, problem‑solving, and delivering high service standards
• Staying up to date with European transport regulations, customs procedures and market trends
• Understanding profit & loss and contributing to the company’s long‑term success
• Collaborating with various departments to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency

• Experience in European road freight forwarding
• High level of customer service in face‑to‑face, telephone and email interactions
• Strong geographical knowledge and ability to plan European Groupage Trailers
• Excellent commercial awareness and customer service skills
• A proactive, problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work independently
• Knowledge of customs procedures (full training will be provided if required)
• Ability to consolidate cargo in the UK and maximise trailer payloads
• European language skills would be a bonus but are not essential
