Overview

Location: Witney (Hybrid 3 days office / 2 days home)

Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary (3 weeks)

We re recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing organisation looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their friendly finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous purchase ledger/accounts payable experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, organisation and strong communication skills are essential.

• Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and on time
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies
• Maintaining and reconciling the purchase ledger
• Preparing supplier payment runs
• Managing supplier queries and building positive working relationships
• Processing employee expenses and company credit card transactions
• Supporting month-end processes and cash flow reporting
• Assisting with continuous improvements to finance processes
• Providing support across the wider finance function when required

We re looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
