Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant Bradford £39k-£43k Permanent Hybrid Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a forward-thinking public sector organisation . This is a fantastic chance to develop your career within the public sector, working across a broad range of financial accounting activities while supporting the delivery of high-quality services to the community. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting with the financial reporting, controls and year-end processes.

Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the preparation of the annual Statement of Accounts and year-end close Producing financial reports, reconciliations and balance sheet analysis Assisting with budget monitoring, forecasting and financial planning Supporting external audit processes and ensuring strong audit trails Maintaining and reconciling general ledger and control accounts Contributing to the Council's statutory reporting and financial governance Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to provide financial advice

Qualifications & Skills ;
Ideally part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA or equivalent) Have experience in financial accounting or reporting Demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical skills Be confident communicating with non-finance stakeholders Be motivated to develop within a public sector finance environment What's on Offer;
