We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established and growing engineering business based in Oxfordshire.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of regulated and high-growth sectors, including pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and the emerging EV battery market.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and components for regulated manufacturing environments.

Produce detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred).

Design equipment with a strong focus on hygiene, safety, compliance, and manufacturability.

Work closely with project, manufacturing, and client teams to deliver bespoke engineering solutions.

Support prototyping, testing, installation, and commissioning activities.

Maintain accurate technical documentation, BOMs, and revision control.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor is strongly preferred.

Experience designing equipment for pharmaceutical or food & beverage industries is advantageous.

Interest or exposure to EV battery manufacturing or clean energy markets is beneficial.

Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.
