Mechanical Project Manager – Permanent – Oxfordshire & London

Permanent role starting January 2026, based in Witney, Oxfordshire. Salary ‑ approximately £75,000–£80,000 per annum plus an attractive benefits package. The position is site‑based, five days a week (Mon‑Fri), with the main project focused on the de‑carbonisation of a large public building.

• Lead and manage all mechanical engineering activities on the site, ensuring compliance with the carbon‑neutral framework.
• Oversee installation of air‑ and water‑source heat pumps, AHU replacement and connection of pre‑fabricated plant rooms.
• Act as the client‑facing project manager, handling all matters that arise and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships.
• Supervise the site installation team to deliver the project on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Complete the initial Witney project by April 2026 and prepare for subsequent projects across Greater London and the Home Counties.

• Degree, HNC or equivalent technical qualifications in Building Services or a related field.
  SMSTS/CSCS site‑management certificates are considered an advantage.
• Extensive mechanical engineering experience with a bias toward heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems.
• Knowledge of general construction or electrical works is a plus.
• Previous involvement in de‑carbonisation or similar sustainability projects is highly desirable.
• Availability to start in January 2026, either immediately or after a notice period with the current employer.
