The FP&A Accountant working with finance and the operational teams will play a key role in delivering insightful financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting to support commercial decision-making across the business that drives growth, efficiency and profitability.

• Developing and maintaining robust financial models to support pricing, margin optimisation, labour efficiency, investment decisions, and scenario planning
• Delivering accurate and timely weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
• Producing month‑end P&L reports with clear variance analysis (actual vs budget/forecast) and strong commercial commentary that highlights trends and key risks
• Ensuring integrity, consistency and accuracy of financial data across reporting cycles
• Analysing and tracking hospitality KPIs such as revenue per cover/room, labour percentage, food & beverage margins, occupancy, and yield
• Partnering with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives and drive operational performance
• Supporting the Head of Finance and Finance Director with budgeting and forecasting, working closely with operational teams to produce realistic, data‑led projections
• Building and continuously improving advanced Excel models
• Automating reporting processes using Power Query and data transformation techniques to improve efficiency and insight

• Proven experience in an FP&A / Commercial Finance / Finance Analyst role
• Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
• Advanced Excel expertise (Power Query essential; Power Pivot / DAX highly desirable)
• Management accounts and month‑end reporting
• Experience working with large, complex datasets
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate numbers into commercial insight

• Part or qualified accountant
• Experience with in the hospitality, leisure, retail or multi‑site consumer sector
• Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Experience supporting operational teams in a fast‑paced environment

The on target earning potential for this role is £43,000 – £53,000 per annum (dependant on experience) based on a 40 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £40,000 - £50,000, plus a qualified estimate of £3,000 in gratuities and service charge.
