Newbury, West Berkshire Working Pattern:
Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in the office Rate: £500 per day
Contract:
Locum / Interim Pertemps Social Care are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join a local authority in West Berkshire . The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality business intelligence solutions, analysing complex datasets and producing dashboards and reports to support performance monitoring and evidence-based decision making.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and datasets. Design and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools. Gather, understand and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Analyse performance information and provide meaningful insights to support evidence-based decision making. Work with stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements. Ensure business intelligence outputs are accurate, accessible and aligned with organisational requirements.
Essential Experience Degree-level education or equivalent relevant professional qualification in a related discipline, such as Information Management, Data Analytics or Computer Science . Significant experience of SQL development and querying complex datasets. Significant experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports or using equivalent BI tools. Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Experience working with performance information and supporting evidence-based decision making.
