Trainee CNC Operator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee CNC Operator to join a busy production team and develop specialist machining skills within a well-established company operating within the precision engineering and manufacturing sector.

This is a genuine long-term career opportunity within a structured and supportive environment. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training in CNC machine setting and operation, with clear development milestones and mentoring throughout.

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am 4:30pm, Friday: 8:00am 3:30pm

Overtime may be available depending on workload

This Trainee role would suit:

As the Trainee CNC Operator,you will learn to:

• Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings
• Operate and assist in setting CNC machine tools
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Carry out in-process quality checks
• Record and maintain machine set-up information
• Identify and report production issues promptly
• Work efficiently while maintaining high safety standards
• Follow risk assessments and safe systems of work
