Soldering Technician

What you'll be doing:

* Carry out fine detail hand soldering for surface mount components

* Support production output as part of a close-knit manufacturing team

* Use and operate a pick-and-place machine (preferred)

* Assist with assembly tasks as required

* Carry out basic electrical testing (where needed/available within the role)

* Work to production schedules and maintain quality throughout your shift
What you'll bring:

* Experience working in production teams within a manufacturing environment (highly desirable)

* Demonstrable fine detail hand soldering experience on surface mount (required)

* Pick-and-place machine experience (required)

* Soldering skills aligned to IPC-610 (preferred)

* Care and precision with a strong eye for detail

* Clear communication skills and a team-first approach

* The confidence to meet targets and work consistently to timescales
Additional information:

* Training will be provided on site

* Hours:

Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm

* Permanent full-time position with an immediate start possible

* Salary £29,500 plus overtime, company pension and free on-site parking
