Goods In Quality Inspector
12 month contract
Based in the Carterton area
Offering £29.44ph Inside IR35

As the Goods In Quality Inspector, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
You will be involved in:- Receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components and assemblies using pre-set inspection plans
- Ensure compliance with all associated quality procedures, airworthiness control plans, and quality management system requirements
- Using aerospace knowledge and expertise to inspect finished products, thereby ensuring conformance with MAA/FAA/EASA Part 145 specifications and established quality standards, including customer requirements
- Maintain material batch and manufacturer traceability information
- Issue Discrepancy Reports and assisting in the resolution of customer complaints and Supplier quality problems
- Document and record non-conformance process issues concerning business operations
- Represent the Quality Management Department during internal meetings, working committees and modification programs
- Knowledge of aircraft operations, materials, and practices
- Experience under MAA Part 145 or EASA Part 145. Part 21 experience could be considered
- Knowledge of AS9100 and First Article Inspection
- An associate degree, two years of university or technical school within aerospace engineering, system engineering, electro-mechanical, or similar.
- Logistic or Inventory management experience
- Experience in a customer-facing role in an aviation environment
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of a QMS system for logistics operations and regulatory requirements for control of inventory
- MAA/EASA or equivalent Part 145 Certification would be advantageous
