What you'll be doing...

As the  Cleaning Manager , you'll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality cleaning services across designated sites or facilities. You'll manage cleaning teams, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and maintain service excellence through effective planning, supervision, and communication.
Lead and manage cleaning staff, including recruitment, training, rotas, and performance
Ensure all cleaning services meet contractual, hygiene, and quality standards
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high service levels
Manage stock levels and order cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
Monitor compliance with health and safety, COSHH, and other relevant regulations
Liaise with clients, facilities teams, and suppliers to resolve issues and implement improvements
Keep accurate records of staff attendance, training, and site reports
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery
Working pattern:
Monday - Friday | 07:00am - 3:30pm (Some Weekends may be Required) | 15 Hours Per Week

Candidate must be able to drive and Must have or be able to obtain security clearance eligibility to access UK Ministry of Defense establishments.

What can you bring?
Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory or management role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Good understanding of cleaning practices, chemicals, and equipment
Knowledge of health & safety and COSHH regulations
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Good communication skills and confidence dealing with staff and clients
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
A proactive, hands-on attitude and commitment to service excellence
