Warehouse Operative / Bendi Forklift Driver

Witney, Oxfordshire

£13.50 per hour

Our client is a dynamic organisation, offering exceptional logistics and warehousing solutions with a commitment to efficiency and safety. Due to location you would need to drive and have access to your own transport.

As a Warehouse Operative / Bendi Forklift Driver, you will work within the warehouse team dealing with suppliers and internal departments to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.

• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods
• Picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently
• Reworking customer orders to their individual specifications
• Safely operating a Bendi articulated forklift to move stock around the warehouse, including working in narrow aisles and racking areas
• Completing daily forklift checks and reporting any defects, hazards, or maintenance issues promptly
• Loading, unloading, stacking, and replenishing stock safely using the Bendi forklift
• Following safe operating procedures when manoeuvring stock, pallets, and materials in busy warehouse areas
• Conducting stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Reporting any damaged or missing goods to supervisors
• Assisting in other warehouse duties as required

Applicants should have strong attention to detail, and experience working with warehouse operations. You will need to be proficient in operating a Bendi forklift and demonstrate a commitment to safety and efficiency.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred but not essential
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items
• Valid Bendi forklift licence or recognised articulated forklift certification
• Previous experience operating a Bendi forklift in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment
• Strong awareness of warehouse health and safety standards when operating material handling equipment
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required
