Contract Massage Therapist – Join Our Physical Therapy Team
Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists is seeking a licensed massage therapist to work in a clinical, rehab‑focused setting. The role supports client recovery through therapeutic massage and collaboration with physical therapists.
What You’ll Do- Provide therapeutic massage to clients recovering from injury or surgery
- Work alongside physical therapists to support individualized treatment plans
- Help relieve pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall well‑being
- Educate clients on self‑care and injury prevention techniques
- Maintain a professional, welcoming, and healing environment
- Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in Michigan
- Experience in medical, orthopedic, or rehabilitative massage (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, injury recovery, and pain management techniques
- Excellent communication and client‑focused approach
- Liability insurance (required)
- Professional, collaborative healthcare environment
- Steady client referrals from physical therapists & wellness programs
