Sector 7 is seeking a qualified IT Technician for both remote and on-site support, primarily serving as a Tier 2 support resource for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of computer hardware, software, internet applications, networks, and operating systems. Responsibilities include providing timely and accurate information to decision-makers, creating a positive customer environment, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and procedures.

Responsibilities
Field Team Functions:
- Report daily tasks and to-dos via the company's project management platform
- Maintain a professional appearance and handle company equipment responsibly
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance satisfaction
Onsite Functions:
- Present professionally and care for equipment and property
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before appointments and confirm arrival in chat
- Communicate hourly updates while onsite
- Assist with server deployments and network development as needed
- Use ticketing and documentation tools effectively
Experience and Preferences
- Set up and support workstations and peripherals
- Understand network topography & OSI Model
- Knowledge of SMTP & Email Systems
- Experience with Virtualization Technologies (VMWARE / Hyper-V)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server (2008/12/16) and Office (2013/2016)
- Optimize and secure local networks
- Troubleshoot hardware issues
- Install and configure software according to specifications
- Maintain local networks and documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers and support teams
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
- Document issues thoroughly in support tickets
- Perform IT problem diagnosis and resolution
- MSP and customer service experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Degree or certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are advantageous
