Field Service Technician

Hall’s Culligan of Wixom is searching for a Field Service Technician. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who sees this as a training opportunity for a lifelong career in drinking water and water treatment services.

• Install and service products and systems at commercial and residential customer locations.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and safety protocols.

• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Communicate effectively to explain installation processes and answer questions.

• Provide technical support to customers during and after installations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

• Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of installed products and systems.
• Provide basic technical guidance to customers.
• Aid or provide training to coworkers and other departments.

• Maintain accurate records of installations and troubleshooting steps, including pictures.

• Operate service vehicles safely; adhere to safe driver policies and complete required vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Load, unload, and secure service vehicles as required.

• Physically capable of standing, kneeling, bending, crawling, and lifting heavy equipment up to 100 lbs regularly. May work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces.
• Factory safe driver and ability to operate a commercial vehicle 8‑10 hours per day.

• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Pass and maintain an acceptable driving record for company vehicle operation.
• Pass criminal background check and drug screening.
• Physically capable of performing duties.
