Panel Builder / Wireman
Johnson Service Group is seeking a Panel Builder / Wirer for a client in Wixom, Michigan.
This is a great direct opportunity for someone seeking to work in the electrical panel building industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly & Wiring:
Mount components (PLCs, HMIs, breakers, terminals) in enclosures and connect them point-to-point according to electrical drawings and schematics. - Schematic Interpretation:
Read and understand complex electrical prints, diagrams, and bills of materials (BOMs). - Testing & Troubleshooting:
Perform functional tests on completed panels and diagnose/fix wiring errors or operational issues. - Layout & Installation:
Measure, cut, and install mounting rails, ducts, and components within panels for optimal layout. - Safety & Quality:
Adhere to electrical codes (like UL standards) and company safety procedures, ensuring a clean, organized, and professional finish.
