Position Summary

The Regional Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting sales leadership by driving operational efficiency and ensuring smooth project progression through the pipeline. This role serves as a strategic partner to both operations and sales leaders, facilitating weekly regional meetings, producing pipeline reviews and analysis, and resolving project‑related inquiries with speed and precision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage complex projects, create practical solutions, initiate proper action, and follow through to ensure project progression.
  • Help identify trends within the installation process that negatively impact project realization and velocity, and present findings to operations and sales teams.
  • Proactively communicate pertinent project updates with Operations Leaders and Sales.
  • Participate in daily meetings and discussions to support the team and improve the quality of the operation.
  • Review Scope of Work for residential solar projects.
  • Collect project documents, resolve tickets, and call sales representatives as required to ensure project progression.
  • Build rapport with assigned sales managers, sales administrators, and sales representatives to improve realization rates.
  • Comprehend complicated design requirements and understand necessary equipment changes based on those requirements.
  • Demonstrate basic to advanced understanding of Aurora design platform to initiate design changes.
  • Learn to answer and action a variety of process and project‑specific questions.
  • Become familiar with project requirements based on region, utilities, AHJ’s, and finance partners.
  • Become proficient in LIGHTSPEED, Freedom’s custom‑built CRM.
  • Lead regional team meetings, discussions, and other activities as required to support the team and improve the quality of the operation.
  • Answer inbound calls from sales representatives, providing support and resolving inquiries efficiently.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
  • Education &

    Certifications:

    High School Graduate, GED or equivalent.
  • Experience:

    3+ years of solar sales support experience required; 3+ years of customer service experience required.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Ability to work a rotating schedule, operate computer and communication equipment, effective verbal and written communication, cooperative working relationships, clerical and typing skills, active listening, multitasking, computer literate at least 35 wpm, problem solving under stress.
  • Special Skills & Training:
    Tact and professionalism in difficult situations, frequent interruptions, sense of urgency, deadline compliance, highly organized, multitask, strong client‑facing and teamwork skills.
  • Physical Demands:
    Regularly sit at computer, move from sitting to standing, long concentration periods, handle objects, lift 5-10 pounds.
