We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quoting Specialist to support our Woburn, Massachusetts facility.

** Responsibilities
* *** Cost Estimating & Quoting
*** Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates and price quotations for custom-manufactured aerospace and defense components.
* Support both
** commercial and government
** customer quotations, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
* Analyze engineering drawings, bills of material (BOMs), labor routings, and process requirements to develop detailed cost models.
* Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality to validate assumptions, lead times, and manufacturing feasibility.
* Support proposal development, including pricing narratives and cost breakdowns as required.
** Government & Compliance Support
*** Support government contract quoting requirements, including compliance with FAR/DFARS pricing expectations.
* Assist with cost and pricing data preparation when required (e.g., cost breakdowns, supporting documentation).
* Maintain accurate records to support audits, customer inquiries, and internal reviews.
** Small Business Plan Reporting
*** Track, analyze, and report small business subcontracting data in accordance with government contract requirements.
* Support preparation and submission of Small Business Subcontracting Plan reports (e.g., ISR/SSR or equivalent).
* Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure accurate classification and reporting of small business spend.
* Maintain supporting documentation and ensure reporting accuracy and timeliness.
** Cross-Functional Collaboration
*** Work closely with sales, program management, engineering, procurement, and finance to support competitive and compliant pricing.
* Participate in quote reviews to ensure pricing accuracy, margin expectations, and risk awareness.
* Provide feedback to internal teams on cost drivers and opportunities for cost reduction.
** Continuous Improvement
*** Support improvements to quoting tools, templates, and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
* Analyze historical quote performance and awarded work to improve future estimates.
* Maintain pricing databases and cost models.###
** Qualifications
* ** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
* 3+ years of experience in cost estimating, quoting, or pricing within a manufacturing environment; aerospace and defense experience preferred.
* Experience supporting
** government and commercial
** quotations.
* Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS pricing principles and government contracting requirements is strongly preferred.
* Experience with small business subcontracting plan reporting and compliance is a plus.
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
* Proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
* Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.###
** Preferred Skills
*** Experience with custom, engineered-to-order manufacturing.
* Familiarity with audit environments and customer pricing reviews.
* Aerospace and defense industry experience.

- Base pay $70, plus bonus opportunity
