Position: RADAR System Engineer with Security Clearance
Volt is immediately hiring for “Systems Engineer (ENG
05)” . You will do:
You will be working as part of a team to define radar system requirements, design architectures and algorithms in support of those requirements and collaborate with software development teams to ensure effective implementation.
Analyzing radar system performance data with respect to requirements
Identifying performance deficiencies and proposing solutions
Defining and prototyping new algorithms to enhance system performance
Presenting plans, designs and system performance to peers, internal leadership, and external customers
Providing subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements
You will be completing the above responsibilities in one or more capability areas including:
Electronic Protection, signal processing, applied mathematics
Hypersonic threat defense
Tracking, discrimination, search, and battle manager interfaces
Radar calibration, diagnostics, deployed site support
Modeling and simulation of tactical software This is a 12 month with possible extension opportunity.

Clearance Required:

Secret Qualification Must have :
Experience in system performance analysis, algorithm development, modeling & simulation, or support to fielded systems Qualifications We Prefer:
Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues using strong analytic, technical and problem-solving skills

Experience with system level requirements development, documentation and maintenance and/or requirements development and design of system level software architecture

Experience with radar system concepts; detection, track and signal processing algorithms and their behaviors and performance

Experience with the development and coding of system models, algorithms, test vectors and analysis tools in support of analyzing radar requirements and performance
Experience working with MATLAB, C/C++, Java or DOORS
Experience in using AI/ML and signal processing in database and algorithm design and enhancement

Experience with developing, documenting, and maintaining processes, methods, and tools

Experience with Battle Management command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems, Radar Systems or signal processing techniques
Ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user needs Previous military service Additional Job Details:
Pay Rate:

- $105/hr.

-$115/hr.
