• Investigative Excellence:
  Conduct thorough site investigations to identify physical and environmental risks, perform field studies (airborne chemical monitoring, noise monitoring, indoor air quality assessments), and work independently or collaboratively.
• Strategic Development:
  Support regional growth throughout New England and national clients, develop comprehensive sampling strategies, outline required analyses, research regulatory standards and hazard data, and assist leaders in developing templates and practice guidance for all Terracon industrial hygiene practitioners.
• Impactful Reporting:
  Evaluate sampling results, prepare detailed risk assessment reports, and develop actionable recommendations to improve environmental conditions. Present findings and recommendations to clients, showcasing expertise and communication skills.
• Leadership and Safety:
  Lead safety efforts for the team, ensuring adherence to safety rules and guidelines, create and model a safe work environment, and promote pre‑task planning for all projects.
• Quality Assurance:
  Drive continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects, uphold and promote high‑quality standards and practices in all project and proposal deliveries.
• Mentorship and Training:
  Provide technical direction and training to less experienced professional staff, fostering their growth and development.
• Client Development and Engagement:
  Participate in the development of marketing strategies, present qualifications to clients, and enhance the company’s reputation and client relationships across commercial, transportation, healthcare, energy, and federal projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related science field.
• Minimum 8‑11 years of experience.
• Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
• Ability to attain Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status, required for committing resources and mitigating risk on projects.

• Additional certification in the field of expertise, including but not limited to:
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
  • Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)
  • EPA Certified Lead‑Based Paint Inspector and Risk Assessor

The expected salary range for this position is listed below. The base range may be adjusted based on the specific location of the applicant; final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Minimum $102,200 – Maximum $158,400
