Experienced Battery or Engineering Technician
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
We are seeking an experienced engineering technician to support product development, testing, and manufacturing activities. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast‑paced engineering environment and has strong troubleshooting skills. Experience with battery technology is a plus.
This is a hands‑on role, perfect for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving complex problems, and helping take innovative designs all the way to scalable production.
This is not a leadership or management‑track position. We’re looking for a strong contributor who thrives as part of a team, communicates well with diverse groups, and is driven to make the company as successful as possible.
Requirements- Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical testing tools (DMMs, oscilloscopes, torque tools, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and test procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring high‑quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
- Familiarity with electrical safety, proper use of PPE, OSHA standards and all typical workplace safety guidelines.
- Battery technology or grid‑scale energy storage experience a plus.
- Assist engineers in building, assembling, and testing prototypes and production units.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations, test set‑ups, data collection, and documentation.
- Support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for product or system issues.
- Maintain lab equipment, tools, and test fixtures.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality control.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
- Perform shipping, supply organization, and inventory tracking duties.
