Productssupported by this team, include, but are not limited to:
- IoT RF Front End Modules (FEM's)
- LTE RF Low Data Rate Front End Modules (FEM's)
- Reference Designs with SoC partners
- Multi-pole multi-throw switches for antenna management
- Wifi switches for transmit/receive functions
- GPS LNA's
- Assist Applications team with customer specific testing across frequency and power levels
- Run product simulations in ADS to assist customers with optimizing their system with Skyworks products
- Evaluate portfolio products listed above on custom designed evaluation boards
- Work with RF Designers, Project managers and Product Engineers as part of new product development
- Assist in product documentation
- Create customer presentations explaining complex concepts
- Utilize various RF tools to conduct RF measurements in an engineering lab environment
- Currently enrolled in an MS or BA/BS program studying Electrical Engineering, or similar
- Must be returning to school following this Co-Op assignment
- Able to commit to the Winter/Spring Co-Op program which runs from January 2026 to June 2026 (6 months)
- Successfully completed at least one course in RF / Microwave Technology or Wireless Technologies
- Exposure to and experience with using ADS simulation tool
- Experience with VNA's, spectrum analyzers, noise figure meters, power meters, etc.
- Interest in the RF/Microwave/Antenna/Wireless Technology field
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
