Raytheon is seeking a well-qualified Senior Systems Security Engineer (P3) to join our elite Systems Security Engineering (SSE) team in developing solutions to protect the Warfighter’s technology advantage. Systems Security Engineering creates holistic security solutions leveraging Cybersecurity, Software Assurance, and Program Protection Implementation on National Security Systems. Join our highly visible team and perform technically challenging assignments, which will directly contribute to protecting our nation and our Warfighters.

This is an onsite position at Raytheon in Woburn, MA.

What You Will Do Interact with the customer to define SSE requirements, architecture, solutions, trade studies and vendor product analysis, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness

Develop, design, integrate, test, and maintain various cybersecurity capabilities for National Security Systems Ensure compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls

Develop top-level system requirements and flow down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystem

Develop plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans

Consult and assist program management with SSE architecture and issues and deliver technical briefings to leadership

Define security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software components and provide all associated technical documentation

Integrate cybersecurity development activities and support test and integration activities

Support the development of bids and proposals

Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Experience in System Security Engineering and/or Cybersecurity Engineering and/or System Administration or IT/Network Administration

Experience with NIST Risk Management…
