Collections Analyst

Woburn, MA - hybrid 3 days at the office

Contract 6-12+ months

About the Role

We're seeking a Collections Analyst to join our Accounts Receivable team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in reconciling and reducing receivable balances while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll work cross‑functionally to resolve customer inquiries, manage past‑due balances, and support accurate billing and cash application.

What You’ll Do
  • Collect and reconcile receivable balances for existing customers, driving balances through to resolution.
  • Ensure billing accuracy and proper cash application.
  • Review and audit lease documents or purchase orders to validate billing and identify necessary adjustments.
  • Initiate customer outreach via phone and email and organize escalation to a Supervisor when appropriate.
  • Support a high volume of customers and leases by following established collection strategies and maintaining consistent follow‑ups.
  • Partner cross‑functionally to resolve customer disputes efficiently and professionally.
  • Prepare and maintain timely, accurate reporting related to contracts, invoices, and aging balances.
What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3 years of experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable.
  • Experience with Oracle is preferred.
  • Strong follow‑up and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain information to internal and external partners.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams at various levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
