Human Resources Generalist

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a growing organization and help strengthen company‑wide HR functions. This role combines hands‑on HR operations with strategic support, focusing on talent management, employee relations, compliance, and process improvement. • Support the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Manage HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, and employee development.
• Lead employee relations, investigations, and performance management processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Improve HR processes and systems to support efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain accurate HR documentation and employee files.
• Partner with leadership to promote a consistent, productive, and positive work environment.
• Support training, development, morale, and retention initiatives.

• 5+ years of broad HR experience in a small or growth‑oriented organization.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage HR programs and processes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and talent management.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• HR leadership experience.
• SHRM‑CP certification.
• Industry experience in manufacturing, distribution, or transportation (preferred but not required).
• Experience with independent contractor or driver compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret legal documents.
• Advanced degree (MBA).
